Had the most MAGICAL weekend at the Cuban Salsa Congress in Wanganui...it almost feels wrong to call it a congress because it was so intimate, spiritual, full of feeling and sincerity. So many people cried at the closing ceremony (I didn't know I even had that many tears in me) but they were mostly tears of joy, relief and empathy for one another as everyone shared stories about how dancing and certain people had impacted on their lives. I was so worried I would never find another Tribe of Doris...but I just did.

Petera and Marie-Louise Hudson I can't thank you enough and I assure you it this weekend was honestly one of the most special experiences of my life.

Whether you dance linear style, or Cuban style and haven't been to this event yet, you should book it in your calendar for next year!!...you will take something away with other than just moves...the union of friendship is something special we all share in Dance...
