Deanna Ezzy
Canberra Australia
My name is Deanna Ezzy and I work in the Finance Broking Industry in Canberra, ACT, Australia. In the next 2 years I expect to be a fully qualified Finance Broker. My aim is to build up my own property portfolio then help fellow Oz citizens build up theirs so that we can all retire in comfort! I have been dancing various styles for about 2 ½ years, but have really thrown myself into Salsa/Latin over the past 14 months, and have never looked back! I have performed at the Sydney Salsa Congress, the NZ Pacific Salsa Congress and have another solo (with my dance partner) performance in 2 weeks.
In 2010 I went on my first Salsa Cruise and had an absolute ball! The P&O Ship had great facilities. I regularly used the gym, spa, made whirlpools in the pool, snoozed on the deck in the sun with a cocktail, wore all my pretty dresses to the fancy night dance productions and OMG, the food was the BEST I’ve ever had! Off the ship, I got lost in Noumea and ended up on a 3 lane motorway on the “wrong” side of the road doing a top speed of 55km/hr on a golf buggy. I purchased (and kept) a different beer from each Island as mementos, snorkelled for the first time and relaxed on the shores of Isle of Pines. What I enjoyed most about the cruise were the fantastic workshops and getting to know the instructors and other dancers. I now have new friends from all over Australia and NZ. The cruise really helped me to unwind and I came back to Canberra feeling refreshed and re-energised. I cant wait to do it all again – hopefully with you!

Hello everyone and thanks for checking out my blog. Finally got some free time to lay some stuff down. Just got back home to Los Angeles after an incredible tour in Australia and New Zealand. Since I have already posted a blog on Australia now its time to blog about the Kiwi land.
New Zealand was just awesome. It was my return back to New Zealand in over 2 and a half years and I must admit, I had butterflies in my stomach. I was just so eager to teach and perform again for the New Zealand salseros.
I wasn't alone on this tour. I was joined by my other halfs Junior & Emily. I first want to thank Marie-Louise and Pertera Hudson of World Salsa Tours for putting such an incredible tour together. The both of you are some of the most genuine people I've ever met. You truly love salsa and everything it stands for and this is why your company "World Salsa Tours" will be one of the biggest latin promotions company to hit the salsa scene. I love you both and will never forget and always appreciate everything you did for Junior, Emily and I.
I want to thank all the dancers and directors in Christchurch, Whanganui, Rotorua and Auckland for coming together and making this one of the best tours ever. Thank you for supporting our workshops and our shows. It was an honor to teach and perform for all of you in New Zealand. I will miss you all.
Special thanks to Mama & Papa P, Chris Foreman aka C-breezy, Liza Kohunui, Lex and Stayz Raukawa for their incredible hospitality. It was an honor coming into to your homes and meeting your families. Thank you.
Special shout out to Stayz Raukawa and the Star Dance family. You all showed me an incredible time in Picton and Blenheim NZ. I love the new studio Stayz!!!! "Dream it, Dance it, Do it".
Once again, Thank you New Zealand for opening your hearts and doors to Edwin Rivera and Junior & Emily. We will miss you all. I hope it won't take another 2 and a half years before my next visit to New Zealand.
Que viva la salsa!!!!

New Zealand ANZAC Bachata Tour was one of my favourite experiences of the year. Not only where the workshops a lot of fun and the party and shows awesome, but there was one part that stood out the most.
I travel the world staying in hotels and motels from event to event but this trip, we where able to stay in the house of Chris Forman.
As part of the trip, World Salsa Tours organised hosts for us who would take us into their house whilst we where there.
This was what I remember the most fo the trip. The home cooked meals, family enevironment and everyones friendly attitude and willingnness to help us.
This is the one thing I will remember and highly recommend that anyone should experience.
On behalf of Katrina and I, thank you Petera and Marie - Loiuse for an awesome advanture :)
See you soon!!
