What people say
Los Angeles Salsa Congress

Wow, I was a dancer and even I didn't know salsa was so popular! There were thousands of people at this event.

I've talked to many congress attendees who had an overwhelmingly positive experience. How can they last for 4 days with such intense schedules and only a few hours of sleep? Nevertheless, you see those dazed smiles on their faces...People fly from all over the world to be here. That's what I call addiction.
Paula Abdul - Judge American Idol

When I think of what to write about the 10th West Coast Salsa Congress, the word "WOW!" comes to mind. The weekend was packed full of many very good workshops, as well as performances
Ricardo Linnell - Hurricane Tumbao Dance Company, Portland, OR

With thousands of attendees expected daily, hundreds of dance teams, numerous music and dance workshops taught by world renowned instructors and some of the top bands and artists in the business, this is without a doubt "The Greatest (Salsa) Show on Earth."

At sunset you'll join the Venice Beach Drum Circle. It is exactly what comes to mind. It is a bunch of people with drums (sometimes, water jugs, cans with sand, or any other contraption one can think of), sitting around in a circle and playing "together" to create a harmonious sound of such raw primal energy.

You'll then move along the beach to Santa Monica Pier, The beautiful Pier offers a variety of entertainment, dining and shopping experiences, including the thrill rides of Pacific Park; a historic 1922 Carousel, and an interactive aquarium.
