This is the first time I have attended any Salsa Congress in the World
and I am really glad to say I enjoyed myself a lot. Everyone was very friendly and helpful; I felt as if I was home.I loved the fact that the volunteers helped you find your way during the workshops (you could easily get lost in there); everything was very well organized.
I am very grateful that Jaime was able to help us (Roopu Rueda) change
the date of our performance due to a misunderstanding with our dates.
The venue was far from everything, but I think it was worthy. Good
installations, good stage... good overall. We enjoyed all the workshops we attend too. All the instructors were very friendly and professional, I liked the fact that they let us record the moves they were teaching us so we could practice back home.
Parties, and music (both bands and DJ's) were great, we danced until
our 7 month old let us (that was around 1:00 am each night, and only
because he was due for a feed!) We really liked being part of the Sydney Salsa Congress, both as performers and as attendees for the showcases & workshops, and must of all to catch up with our good friends!!!

Blown away... The Sydney Congress has been FANTASTIC, a whirlwind of bright, vibrant performances, brilliant workshops, parties each night wilder than the one before with some amazingly eye-opening social dancing.
Dance till you get blisters.. and then dance some more:-) The atmosphere was outstanding, not a single direction could you look without seeing the widest grins. Massive heads up to the organisation, thank you all so much for an amazing time!

You hadn't seen anything until you saw the final performances and the finale of the Sunday night Showcase - a World Exclusive, four of the worlds best exponents of acrobatic dance theatre; Zoe Klein & Dave Paris face-off with Kim Nodora & Alex Lee; followed by a Johnny Vasquez and Ramon Morales Surprise, the audience was standing, shouting, singing and dancing in the aisles. This was truly a showcase spectacular probably never to be repeated and definitely never to be forgotten.
